Using Software
There are several ways to call in using software.
Talkshoe offers a free “Shoephone” for Windows/Mac OS X The Shoephone has free one-button calling plus a text chat feature. Download the Shoephone here.
Free software solutions include X-Lite, the Gizmo Project and SJ Phone.
I use X-Lite and here are some instructions for use with Talkshoe.
Skype If you have a paid Skype account, you can use that. Calls are inexpensive, but not free.
We are currently testing an experimental Skype channel as a means to call in.
